Where are they now?
The corruption and mismanagement within FIFA didn’t start on 2 December 2010 when the Executive Committee made the decisions to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments to Russia and Qatar respectively. It also didn’t start with Russia, Qatar or any of the other bidders in the 2018 and 2022 races (Belgium/Netherlands, England, Spain/Portugal, Australia, Japan, Korea, USA).
However, those two decisions have focussed the attention of many on who was responsible and how they came to make those decisions.

Ultimately, only 22 voted in 2010 because two (Amos Adamu of Nigeria and Reynald Temarii of Tahiti) were suspended prior to the vote.
